学生在美国Lee Academy高级中学(上海校区)，学习场景并不仅限于课堂内，更发生在我们课堂外的实际生活中。我校与上海人工智能领域“独角兽”企业合作，带领学生和老师实地考察参观上海最先进科技公司之一，在那里，学生们可以将课堂中学到的知识与现实科技结合在一起。

At ALAIS, we understand that learning does not occur only within the confines of the classroom but extends beyond the classroom into the real world, including field trips to companies that put into action in the real world what students are learning about in the classroom.

美国Lee Academy高级中学(上海校区)走进“深兰科技”

为了让我校学生了解未来科技发展方向， ALAIS老师带领40多名学生，于 2019年12月5日，参观了人工智能AI科技行业中创新性的公司——深兰科技公司(Deep Blue)。

On December 5, 2019, to expose our students to technologies of the future, ALAIS teachers took over 40 students to visit one of the most innovative, fastest-growing companies in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Industry. Deep Blue Technologies.

Deep Blue Technology, founded by overseas returnees to China with Ph.D.’s, is “deeply rooted in such fields as intelligent driving & vehicle manufacturing, intelligent robots, AI CITY, data and financial security, biological intelligence，intelligent voice,” and many other AI fields, “making it a leader in the industry".

深兰科技公司自2014年成立以来，吸引大量海归博士及高级人才进行人工智能领域各个方向的商业发展和技术突破，致力于人工智能基础研究和应用开发，在自动驾驶、智能机器人、生物智能、零售升级、智慧城市、智能语音、AI芯片、教育等领域进行深耕创新，成为了AI科技技术中的龙头公司。

During the visit, students toured the headquarters and learned about the research and development of artificial intelligence in a number of industries, including logistics robots, security robots, self-driving vehicles, and Deep Blue’s AI City, AI Panda Bus, AI mobile restaurant, and AI convenience store. During a presentation by one of the Ph.D. researchers, students learned about the company’s history, the growth of its core technologies, and the future of AI.

在参观访问期间，学生们参观了深兰科技总部，了解到AI科技在多领域中的运用，例如：物流机器人、安检机器人、自动驾驶汽车、AI熊猫餐车、AI移动餐厅和AI便利店等等。在深兰科技董事长助理刘凤义博士的介绍中，我校学生了解了深兰科技公司的发展历史，核心技术的科研创新以及AI科技的未来。

Education for the 21st century requires students not only to understand the subjects they are studying but also how to apply that knowledge and those skills in the real world to create something entirely new, just as Deep Blue Technologies has done.
