美国Lee Academy高级中学(上海分校)2019年春游

2019年3月29日，美国Lee Academy高级中学(上海分校)全体师生进行了一次环阳澄湖徒步体验活动，旨在通过活动磨炼学生的意志品质、团队建设、人际交往以及吃苦耐劳。

On March 29, 2019, ALAIS led its students and teachers on an experiential education trip to Yangcheng Lake for such an experience – the opportunity to educate the students’ bodies and characters through exercise, team-building, interpersonal skills, and hard work.

全程12公里的环湖徒步，学生分为若干小组，进行团建活动、比赛和游戏，所有环节的设计都是为锻炼和提升上述品质和技能以帮助学生未来取得成功。

Throughout the 12 kilometer hike along the shore of Yangcheng Lake, students, divided into teams, participated in team-building activities, competitions, and games, all designed to teach the students these skills and qualities essential for success.

活动前，12年级学生Esther说：“我内心是拒绝(这次活动)的。”然而在活动结束时，她却改变了看法，“这次活动帮助我认识到了团队合作的重要性，任何团队成员个人的失败都会导致整个团队的失败。”

Before the trip, as grade 12 Esther described, “I rejected the idea [of the Spring Outing] from my heart.” However, by the end of the event, she added, “the activity helped me understand how important group cooperation is,” that “any single failure from any team member will lead to the failure of the entire group.”
